WRWTFWW Records brings an improbably little-known gem back to the fore with this reissue of Mixmaster Morris, Jonah Sharp, and Haruomi Hosono’s sole collaborative LP Quiet Logic. Issued in 1997 in Japan only via Hosono’s Daisyworld Discs, this intercontinental collection by three giants in ambient music never really reached the ears of the chill-out conoscenti. The legend claims that these tracks were built from jams between Morris and Sharp in Hosono’s studio who only came in as they left to structure and shape their improvisations into the head-trip genius heard on the album. May it finally earn its place in the ambient pantheon.
